Sept 10, 2022
We are thrilled to be working with the City of Toronto and the High Park Nature Centre Group to convert, renovate, and retrofit the existing High Park Forest School Building into the new High Park Visitor and Nature Centre.
The revitalized facility will be an environmentally cutting-edge, forward-looking community hub that meets the needs of expanding programs and waitlists. Key project components include a Visitor Centre, a Nature Centre, and City of Toronto administrative spaces.
Students move into Revitalized McLuhan Court Residence
Aug 30, 2022
The McLuhan Court townhouse phase built in 1977 is approximately 40,870gsf with 128-beds in 37 units. The residence is identified as the second phase of renovations by the Focus 15: Student Housing Master Plan document, which sets out to improve townhouse facilities on campus.
Housing is particularly important for first year students, and renovations to the existing complexes will be an important part of attracting and retaining students now and in the future.
Kongats Architects also completed Phase 1: Putnam Place (2018) and is currently delivering Phase 3: Leacock Lane (2023).
